It has come to my attention that there are alot of collections and photoshoots around that seem to be inspired by this. Interesting, i actually quite like it. Ha ha, maybe i should jump on the bandwagon.....

Speaking of old apothacary shops.....

Santa Maria Novella

The more i find out about this building the more i like it, its just kind of magical. I found the these old pictures, as well as stories about the dominican monks and their apothacary shop which still sells amazing scents (as recently blogged by Garance Dore). I totally wish i had known about that when I was there.

Apples and orchards

LA photographer Anna Wolf does in between seasons, mixing red and green without it being christmasy. Its sort of cosy and summery all at the same time. Nice.
