Santa Maria Novella
The more i find out about this building the more i like it, its just kind of magical. I found the these old pictures, as well as stories about the dominican monks and their apothacary shop which still sells amazing scents (as recently blogged by Garance Dore). I totally wish i had known about that when I was there.

Basilica of Santa Maria Novella
This was one of the most beautiful buildings i saw, i liked it much better than the Florence Duomo. The colours are just amazing and would be a stunning colour palette for a collection......

Lanhydrock - victorian elegance
Lanhydrock is a english manor house full of all the trappings of life in the victorian period. Its has 5 kitchens, nursury, stables and the most wonderful alice-in -wonderlandesque graden.
